SENATE 2020: GROUP CLAMOUR FOR KAOLI OLUSANYA, SAYS HE'S THE BEST REPLACEMENT FOR LATE SEN. ADEBAYO OSINOWO.

Lagos East Network (LEN) has called on the National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other Lagos East senatorial leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC, on the race for filling the vacuum in the Senate created by the demise of Sen. Adebayo Osinowo of Lagos East Senatorial district who died recently.  In a Press statement made available to MegaXpression Community News, the group mourned the sudden death of late Sen. Following the demise of Senator Adebayo Oshinowo, popularly called 'Pepperito', the late Senator representing Lagos East senatorial district at the upper chamber of the National Assembly which left the position to be vacant and in view of the various political calculations and  permutations in filling the vacant position for the production of a viable / vibrant successor. It is tenable, authoritative and highly admissible that in consideration of a candidate for this position, Ikorodu Division should be given the slot. It will be recalled that the last time Ikorodu indigene occupied this position was over two decades ago during the regime of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as the President of Nigeria with Sen. FLOODING: DAINI CALLS ON GOV. SANWO-OLU, WARNS RESIDENTS OF IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA AGAINST DUMPING REFUSE IN DRAINS.

The Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA of Lagos State, Bldr. Olusesan Daini has called on Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, revealing the challenges facing the LCDA on flooding. He therefore warned the residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA against indiscriminate dumping of refuse in the drains. In a statement made available to MegaXpression Community News, Daini said it was imperative for the residents to know that the presence of waste in the drains would lead to flooding and erosion in their communities, noting that we should have a collective responsibility towards reducing the effect of flood in our area.
