OBA KASALI, OGUNLEWE, ALOGBA, ADESANYA, OTHERS INDUCTED AS MEMBERS OF PRESTIGIOUS ORIWU CLUB IKORODU. | Shakiru Seidu.

His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, was on Saturday, September 14, 2024, inducted as a member of the prestigious Oriwu Club Ikorodu alongside other seventeen new inductees.

These include Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, and Son of the former Oriwu Club President, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Chairman Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju, former House of Assembly Aspirant, Hon. Babawale Bisiriyu Alogba, Dr. Ismail Adesanya, TPL Hakeem Animashaun, Mr Femi Olukotun FCIB, Dr. Oluwaseun Jaiyesimi, Alhaji Korede Banjoko mni, Mr Demola Adesina-Shitta, Mr Olutosin Olorunnibe MCIPM, MNIM, Mr Albert Ogunsanya, Mr Deremi Amokomowo, Alhaji Kamar Olowosago, Dr. Omotayo Moshood Ph.D, Comrade Olakitan Odusanya, Mr Ademola Amokomowo and Mr Sonoiki.

The event was graced by old Members, Past Presidents, Business Magnates, House of Reps Member, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, Top Government Officials, Royal fathers, traditional Chiefs, and many other prominent Individuals.

The incumbent President of the Club, Prince Ganie Adegboyega Oluwole, during the induction process said Kabiyesi, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo and the rest of the seventeen Inductees were found worthy and that is why they were inducted as Members.

Oriwu Club is one of the oldest Clubs in Nigeria. Established in 1973, in Ikorodu. The Club began as a like-minded friends and Professionals from Ikorodu Town, comprising members of different Races, Religions, Academicians, Professionals, Political big wigs and Business Moguls.

The ultra modern Hall used for the event was filled to capacity, as the President sworn in the Eighteen Inductees as Members, while guests were beaming with joy and enthusiasm.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
