LANTAN ONANUSI FAMILY IGBOGBO AGREES WAY FORWARD, AS STAKEHOLDERS RECONCILE DIFFERENCES. ...We'll ensure equity in family Chieftancy Gazettes, Olootu Lantan family, Odofin Tajudeen Onasanya reveals.

Another history was recorded on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Palace of Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, in Itun-Pepedo, Igbogbo, Lagos, when the three branches of Lantan Onanusi Family, Saogun, Torobiowu and Amoju, were represented by five persons each, to reconcile the differences among the family in the past.

The reconciliatory meeting which was presided by Olootu Lantan General and also Olootu Saogun branch, Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, had in attendance, Chief Waidi Oni, Olotu Torobiowu branch, Chief Wasiu Sanni, Olootu Amoju, Mr Taofeek Ijeni, Mr Shakiru Seidu, Mr Gbenga Oduniyi, Mr Hameed Sodiq, Mr Taiwo Torobiowu, Mr Funsho Fabiyi, among others.

After much deliberation, Olootu Lantan General, Chief Tajudeen Onasanya, enjoined the three branches of Lantan Family (Saogun, Amoju and Torobiowu) to embrace unity and love towards the upliftment of the family.

He charged members of the family to celebrate with love and showcase good image in this year's Eluku Festival and embrace the new leadership, while assuring that he'll maintain equity in the Family Chieftancy Gazettes and other benefits.

Olootu Lantan General further insisted that henceforth, caution should be taking by some indisciplined members of Amoju branch, noting that Lantan family cannot compromise the good name and legacies laid down by their forefathers.

In the same vein, Olootu Amoju and Olootu Torobiowu, Chief Wasiu Sanni and Chief Waidi Oni, also shared same thoughts with Chief Tajudeen Onasanya, reiterating their commitment to move the family forward.

Chief Wasiu Sanni appealed for equity among the Lantan family and promise to forestore decorum and discipline among his branch.

The meeting ended with cheers and spirit to remain one indivisible family with strong love in Igbogbo Kingdom.
