AROYEWUN THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND NYCN'S "BACK TO STREET" INITIATIVE, PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR GRASSROOTS YOUTH OUTREACH.

The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun , has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to youth development, community safety, and inclusive governance as he hosted the leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter, on an official courtesy visit. The delegation, led by the Lagos State Chairman of NYCN, Engr. Adigun Ibrahim Olalekan (MNSE) , formally introduced the Council’s “ Back to Street ” initiative, an intervention programme designed to drive grassroots engagement and address critical social challenges affecting young people across communities. As the calendar flipped to May, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun , has extended warm greetings to the residents of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA. Adding that the new month brought with it a chance to reflect, refocus, and renew commitment to the community's shared values. Aroyewun saluted traders, artisans, civil servants, professionals, entrepreneurs, and young people, acknowledging their resilience and dedication. "May 1st, Workers' Day, was a moment of celebration, recognizing the dignity of labour and the tireless efforts of residents who sustained their homes, communities, and economy," he opined.
