On Wednesday, the Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro (AMA), took his re-election campaign to Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA in a strategic consultation tour that drew strong support from traditional rulers, party leaders, and grassroots stakeholders.
The lawmaker commenced his visit at the Aafin Adeboruwa, where he paid homage to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom. The monarch, alongside his chiefs, warmly received AMA and offered prayers for his successful re-election in 2027, describing his performance in office as commendable and impactful.

The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, expressed gratitude to party leaders for their continued support for AMA. He noted that the lawmaker’s outstanding performance in office has made his re-election bid easier, citing unprecedented achievements within his first three years. He reaffirmed his unwavering support and advised potential challengers to reconsider, describing the contest as unnecessary.
In his address, Hon. Aro appreciated the leaders and members of the party for their support and goodwill. He formally informed them of his intention to recontest for the House of Assembly seat in 2027 and assured constituents that he would return to fully present his scorecard of achievements.
