In a bid to boost food production, enhance agricultural productivity and support the implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, the Member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR , has facilitated the distribution of Federal Government-owned fertilisers to more than 500 farmers across the constituency. The distribution exercise, held on Saturday, benefitted farmers drawn from the six Local Government and Local Council Development Areas that make up Ikorodu Federal Constituency. Each beneficiary received a 50kg bag of fertiliser to support cultivation during the current farming season and cushion the increasing cost of agricultural inputs.
