BOLOWOTAN WOOS AKA MOVEMENT, SEEKS STRONGER ALLIANCE FOR APC VICTORY IN IKORODU CONSTITUENCY 1

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency I, Prince Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan, has called for a stronger partnership with the Alogba Kareem Adeleke (AKA) Grassroots Movement, urging its members to work closely with his campaign team to secure an overwhelming victory for APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

Bolowotan made the call during a strategic engagement with leaders and members of the AKA Movement, where he extended a hand of fellowship to the grassroots political organisation and emphasised the importance of unity, collaboration and collective responsibility in advancing the political and developmental interests of Ikorodu.

The APC candidate noted that the strength of any political party is largely determined by the effectiveness of its grassroots structures, stressing that a united political family would be better positioned to mobilise voters and deliver impressive electoral results.

According to him, increasing the number of votes secured by the APC in Ikorodu 2 would further strengthen the constituency's bargaining power and create greater opportunities for the people to benefit from government programmes, projects and other developmental interventions.

He therefore appealed to members of the AKA Movement to join hands with him and other stakeholders, assuring them that the proposed alliance would be built on mutual respect, inclusiveness and a shared commitment to the progress of Ikorodu.

Speaking at the gathering, Bolowotan's Director-General, Alhaji Kabat Ajalogun, gave words of assurance on the commitment of the campaign organisation to meaningful engagement with grassroots stakeholders.

Ajalogun described the meeting as an important step towards building a formidable political structure capable of delivering victory for the APC, while emphasising the need for continued consultation, cooperation and unity among party members and support groups.

In her remarks, the leader of AKA Movement, Alhaja Alogba, expressed appreciation to Prince Bolowotan for the visit and his gesture of fellowship towards the organisation.

She assured the APC candidate of the movement's readiness for productive integration and collaboration, promising that the AKA Movement would mobilise its structures and members towards delivering a landslide victory for APC candidates.

Alhaja Alogba further stressed that the movement remained committed to grassroots mobilisation and would continue to support initiatives capable of strengthening the party's presence and acceptance across Ikorodu.

The engagement also featured an interactive question-and-answer session, during which Prince Bolowotan responded to questions and concerns raised by members of the movement. His responses further provided an opportunity for direct engagement, clarification and exchange of ideas on the way forward for the party and the constituency.

The meeting was characterised by a spirit of camaraderie, political understanding and optimism, with participants expressing confidence that stronger collaboration among APC stakeholders would translate into better electoral fortunes and greater developmental opportunities for Ikorodu.

The event culminated in a vote of thanks delivered by Alhaji Musbaudeen Alejo, who appreciated Prince Bolowotan, his campaign team and all members of the AKA Movement for their participation and contributions to the successful engagement.

The visit was widely seen as a significant grassroots political engagement, coming at a time when stakeholders within the APC are intensifying efforts to consolidate the party's support base and strengthen its electoral machinery across Ikorodu.
