REP. JIMI BENSON BRINGS HOPE TO AGUNFOYE/OLUMO AS LAWMAKER ASSURES COMMUNITY OF LASTING ROAD SOLUTION. Aroyewun, Odofin hail federal lawmaker’s uncommon commitment to Ikorodu development.


Hope came alive for residents of Agunfoye and Olumo communities on Friday as the Member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, paid an inspection visit to the deplorable Agunfoye/Olumo Road, with a firm assurance that the concerns of the people would receive the deserved attention.

The visit of the frontline federal lawmaker further demonstrated his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and his determination to ensure that communities across Ikorodu Federal Constituency continue to enjoy the dividends of purposeful representation.

The federal lawmaker attributed the growing wave of infrastructural development across the constituency to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, noting that the administration's commitment to grassroots development is creating greater opportunities for communities to benefit from impactful projects.

He also highlighted his facilitation of a new Secondary School and an ICT Centre for Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, stressing the importance of education, technology and quality infrastructure in securing a brighter future for the younger generation.

Rep. Benson was accompanied by the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, and members of his cabinet, while the delegation was received by Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, alongside other community leaders and residents.

Chief Odofin expressed profound appreciation to Rep. Benson for his uncommon gestures and sustained commitment to the development of Ikorodu Division, describing the federal lawmaker as a God-sent leader whose purposeful representation continues to bring hope and progress to the people.

In his remarks, Aroyewun commended Benson for his assurances on the Agunfoye/Olumo and Moreke/Oreta roads, as well as his facilitation of the proposed Secondary School and ICT Centre. He described the projects as strategic interventions that would further transform Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
The Council Chairman also assured Rep. Benson of his unflinching support for his future endeavours, praising his responsive representation and unwavering dedication to the progress and prosperity of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
