JIMI BENSON COMMISSIONS NEW CLASSROOM BLOCKS IN IGBOGBO, IMOTA, AS EDUCATION INTERVENTIONS SPREAD ACROSS IKORODU.
Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR on Thursday, May 7, 2026, commissioned newly facilitated classroom blocks at Salvation Army Primary School, Agunfoye, Igbogbo, and Methodist Primary School, Imota, as part of his continued commitment to educational development across Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
The projects, each consisting of modern six-classroom blocks equipped with staff rooms, furniture, ceiling fans, electrical fittings, and smart boards, attracted community leaders, education stakeholders, political figures, parents, and residents.
Speaking at the events, Stakeholders and Council officials from Igbogbo/ Baiyeku LCDA and Imota LCDA praised Rep. Benson for his consistent interventions in education, infrastructure, and grassroots development, describing him as a transformative leader committed to improving learning standards across the constituency.
Represented by the Executive Secretary of the Ikorodu Local Government Education Authority, Alhaji Taiwo Odumbo, the lawmaker was commended for facilitating several educational projects across Ikorodu Division within the past months.
The Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Omo’ba Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun, was also applauded for complementing the intervention with the construction of Modern Toilet facilities at Salvation Army Primary School.
Community leaders and stakeholders noted that the projects would significantly improve the teaching and learning environment for pupils and leave lasting impacts on public education within Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
