The Lawmaker, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency of Lagos State and Chairman House Committee on Defence, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, was on Saturday, September 21, 2024, accompanied by members of iCARE family, to inspect the ongoing road projects at Agbede in Agric, Ikorodu and the 4.5km Abule-Eko/ Ewu-Owa road Ijede respectively.

The erudite Lawmaker, known for his unprecedented achievements across Ikorodu federal Constituency, so far, has facilitated arrays of infrastructural Projects since assumed office as a Lawmaker.

Already, Benson has completed 54 road projects with street lights, a mini Sports Stadium, Hospitals and Hospitals facilities, periodic Empowerment, monthly food for the Vulnerable, among many other achievements that have significantly touched the lives of his Constituents positively.

Responding to MegaXpression Correspondence in Ijede, Benson said, "I began with a site visit to the ongoing road construction project in Agbede, Agric Ikorodu, where I assessed the progress made so far.

"Also, Abule-Eko/ Ewu-Owa road construction is very dear to me because of its economic value, and indeed, I am very much impressed with the level of work so far by the Contractor.

"I appreciate the support and accompaniment of Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju, Chairman Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon. Saheed Hassan, Alhaji Falm, members of iCare Foundation, residents, and other stakeholders that took part in the assessment, for their support so far. I'll continue to be committed to people's mandate and promised to make my Constituents always smile, Jimi Benson stated.

At the inspection site, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba expressed her gratitude and satisfaction with the impact and quality of the work done so far. Upon completion, the road is expected to greatly enhance accessibility to key areas within and outside the LCDA, driving economic growth and improving daily life for residents.

She also extended her appreciation to the APC party leaders, CDC chairman, CDA chairmen and secretaries, and the residents who showed their support and joined in the inspection. Residents in attendance expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Rep. Babajimi Benson for his dedicated and impactful representation of their interests.
