CHARISMARTIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS CELEBRATE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF QUALITY ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE.   ...Hold valedictory services with prize giving ceremony.

It was a day of reckoning on Wednesday, July 18, when Charismartin International Schools Gbaga, Ikorodu, Lagos, celebrated its 10th anniversary in a glittering and eventful manner. The Proprietress, CMIS, Pastor Mrs Charis A. Akinsanya, governing Board Chairman and former Perm Sec., Ministry of Education, Mrs Oluwagbemiga Benson, member, governing board, Cheif (Engr) Sean Zedoni, Mr. Joseph Abumere, Olori Tokunbo Backry, Pst and Pst (Mrs) Kunle Adesida, Rev and Rev (Mrs) Samuel Elenta, among other notable personalities were in attendance.
 
The Proprietor and Chairman Governing Board, Dr. Martin A. Akinsanya, in his eloquent welcome address, expressed gratitude to the loving and caring dedicated staff, successful graduands, committed and focus pupils and the cooperative neighboring communities for the confidence reposed in the Charismartin Schools.
 
"Our governing body council has been rendering valuable counsels and our dear parents and guardians have not been unconcerned, the entire corps of the staff have shown enviable passion, whilst our wonderful students have continued to make us proud in their respective spheres and endeavors. Majority of our senior graduands from highly reputable universities or are current students from Nigeria and abroad, in all these, we give thanks to almighty God for answers to our prayers," he said.
 
"We wish to assure our students parents, both existing and perspective ones, that we shall not relent in proving the qualitative education for which Charismartin school is known for. We proposed to commence an after-School hour service that will grant parents more flexibility that if and when they will arrive home late their children will remain secure and relaxed until their arrival to convey them home," he added.
 
Dr. Akinsanya, therefore wished parents, both subsisting and prospective that they shall not relent in providing the qualitative education for which Charismartin is well known for, skills and value which makes the Schools stands out, having carved a niche thereon.
 
Presentations of the graduands crossing to new classes ranging from K.G- Nursery, Basic 6 to Jss1 and Jss3 to Ss1. Varieties of entertaining shows which include, cultural dance, musical instruments play, song ministration, and so on were displayed.
 
While speaking with MegaXpression Community Magazine, Basic 5 graduating Head girl, Iremide Oyedele, in her speech congratulated CMIS family on its 10th anniversary, urging her fellow graduands to continue to be hardworking. Also, CMIS Senior Head Girl, Miss Favour Olugbodi said her experience with the school has left her with joyful memories which she would never forget and always cherish for the rest of her life.
 
"To all the students we are leaving behind, I encourage you to stay focused and be principled, so that you'll not be mislead from the right part so that our success will not diminish but shine," she added.
Immediately after Awards and prizes were given out to the graduands and best graduating students, the CMIS Principal, Mr. Akintunde Adeyemi performed the vote of thanks and implore the graduands not to neglect the seed of greatness sown in them.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
