A political group in Ikosi-Ejinrin, Lagos State, has made a case for Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA to produce the next House of Assembly Member to represent Epe Constituency ll , in the 2027 general elections, citing equity, justice and fair play. The Coordinator, Apostle Lekan Lucas , said it's the turn of Ikosi-Ejinrin to produce the next candidate, after eight years completion of Eredo LCDA, adding that “equity, fairness and justice demand that the next Lawmaker for Epe Constituency ll should come from Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA”. Lucas  also faulted an alleged plot by some politicians to compromise the agreement despite existing agreement, warning that such a move would be resisted.
