AGAIN, JIMI BENSON'S iCARE FOODBANK PUT SMILES ON FACES OF OVER 500 HOUSEHOLDS IN IKORODU. ...Says Constituents must not live in hunger.


It was another moment of joy on Saturday, March 14, 2026, for the elderly, widows, needy and vulnerable people across Ikorodu federal  Constituency, when the Chairman, House Committee on Defense, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, repeated his kind gesture by doling out food items, tagged 'Apo Aanu' to over five hundred constituents, at his constituency Office in Igbogbo, Lagos State.

Speaking to MegaXpression Correspondence, Benson returned glory to Almighty God for his protection and guardian on his assignment as a Legislator. He thanked his constituents for giving him the opportunity to represent Ikorodu federal Constituency. "I am delighted for the opportunity afforded me to serve", he said.

Benson, the 'Civilian General', as he fondly called, further urged all to celebrate a peaceful and crime free Ramadan and Lenten festivals, while soliciting for constant supports and prayers to enable him do more than what he is doing presently.

"This and some other pleasant gestures of course, had qualified Jimi Benson, as a symbolic representation of humility and good conscience in Ikorodu Division. By his character, JB is repugnant to illiberal and inequitable principles", this was remarked by Hon. Nurudeen Saka-Sholaja, Member of Eight and Ninth Assemblies of Lagos State, while responding to MegaXpression media.

Shortly after the pleasant remarks, the distribution of the food items began by members of iCARE Foundation with smiles of relief on the faces of the beneficiaries.
