POLITICIANS, MONARCHS, FRIENDS, ASSOCIATES HONOUR REP. JIMI BENSON AT 54. ...As Ikorodu Youth Assembly gives Grants, donates Borehole to Community.


Political associates including the Members of the Governance Advisory Council, GAC, Lagos State Assembly Members, Council Chairmen, Party Leaders, Councillors, well-wishers and Stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Monday joined the iCARE family members at a special party session organised for Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, the Chairman House Committee on Defence.

Before the kick-off of the party at Aquila Events Hall Ikorodu, various groups and individuals within the Constituency and beyond, have took turn to testify to Jimi Benson’s benevolence on social media. The members of the Ikorodu Youth Assembly also went far to donate a completed Borehole project with Generator and Solar lights to a community in Agunfoye Igbogbo, to mark the 54th Birthday of Rep. Babajimi Benson.

Speaking with the SSA to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Social Development, and member of the Ikorodu Youth Assembly, Hon. Biliamin Oba, he described Jimi Benson as an exemplary Leader and a beacon of hope for Ikorodu Youths.

The SSA to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, on social media, Hon Olusegun Dada, commended the unprecedented achievements of Rep. Babajimi Benson, adding that he had laid down a genuine legacy for Ikorodu youth to follow. Dada also donated solar lights for the Borehole and gave N100,000 each to 12 market women to boost their businesses, in celebration of Rep. Babajimi Benson's birthday.

In the same vein, the DG, iCARE Foundation, Mayor Deen Sanwo-Ola, in his eloquent remarks while responding to MegaXpression Correspondence, used the occasion to acknowledge the various contributions of the Civilian General, Rep. Babajimi Benson, towards the development of Lagos State especially Ikorodu federal Constituency.

“Without mincing words, the JB had demonstrated a true face of a good Democrat with passion, sincerity, foresight, humility and impeccable character coupled with resilience and sturdiness at defending the masses interest at all times”, Sanwoola remarked.

Also, in his royal remarks while speaking on behalf of the Kabiyesis in Ikorodu Division, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom, commended Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson on various empowerment programmes, Constituency Projects, interventions in health, social welfares and education of the People of Ikorodu Federal Constituency and Lagos State in general.

The King called on the Council Chairmen in Ikorodu Division to emulate exemplary leadership style of Jimi Benson by being focused and determined to contribute positively to the development of the Society in their chosen callings.

While wishing the lawmaker longlife in good health as he continues in the service of the Society and humanity, the Monarch also urged him not to relent in his efforts to alleviate the sufferings of the People of his Constituency, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole through good legislations and representation.
