The Andus D'Great School Igbogbo , Lagos State, was on Saturday, August 30, 2025, held its Valedictory Service and Graduation ceremony at the School premises, along Offin/Oreta road Igbogbo, celebrating its outstanding Students with Awards, and a strong message of focus through diversity. The ceremony also featured inspiring speech by Professor Akintunde Otubu , a Professor of Property Law, University of Lagos, Akoja, Lagos State. The gathering was a sight to behold as parents, students and staff of the School, including members of its board, were gaily dressed in different eye-catching outfits. Over 500 Households and vulnerable across the Ikorodu federal Constituency were as usual on Saturday benefited from the August 2025 edition of the iCARE Foodbank programme. An initiative of Rep. Babajimi Adekoge Benson MHR , is a nonprofit charitable organization that buys food and grocery products and redistributes the items in a bag called ‘ APO AANU or ‘MERCY BAG ’ to the less privileges. Since 2016, the Foundation has been buying grocery food items to redistribute to individuals and vulnerable families: Elderly, Single Parent, Widow or Physically Challenged, mostly nominated by the public through CDCs, CDAs, Social groups, religious bodies and an online portal to reach those designed for. It was all pomp and pageantry at the burial ceremony for Late Alhaji Saheed Kolawole Akinsanya , popularly called ' Baba Pep ', in Ikorodu. The four walls of the Musical Village Hall were full to capacity for guests of timber and caliber. People came out in larger numbers to bade farewell to the late police officer. It became the gathering of the ' who is who ', high profiled persons from all walks of life, both home and abroad graced the occasions on Saturday, January 23, 2025. Guests enjoyed classic hospitality from the wife of the deceased, Mrs Akinsanya , Children, and the family, as a variety of refreshements including choice drinks, continental and local dishes were served. A Fuji music Star, Alhaji Ramoni Akanni was on stage to provide musical entertainment.
