AROYEWUN COMMENDS REP. BABAJIMI BENSON FOR FACILITATING CONSTRUCTION OF SIX CLASSROOMS BLOCK IN AGUNFOYE, IGBOGBO. ....Odofin Tajudeen Onasanya, Other members of Elders Council applaud gesture.


The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun HOA, has commended Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, Chairman House Committee on Defence, on the newly facilitated Block of Six Classrooms at Salvation Army Primary School Agunfoye, Igbogbo, Lagos.

Aroyewun, who was ably represented at the site visit, by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Wasiu Olowu, thanked Benson profoundly and tagged the project as spectacular. "This is a very laudable project and it will be of great benefit to the people of Agunfoye Community in Igbogbo and also benefits the generation yet unborn. I want to thank JB for this wonderful gesture and prompt commencement of the project," Aroyewun stated.

Barely three weeks of his administration as the Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Aroyewun expressed delight to JB for the honour bestowed upon his administration by bringing the project to Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA. "Indeed, we're starting on a good note," Aroyewun opined.

During the site visit, the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom and Chairman Agunfoye Elders Council, Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, commended Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, for his commitment to improving educational infrastructure in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and Ikorodu Division. He stressed the significance of the newly commencement classrooms, which are expected to enhance the learning environment for pupils.

Odofin further thanked Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, for the choice of Salvation Army Primary School Agunfoye, when the opportunity came. He reaffirmed their support for Aroyewun's administration, emphasizing their commitment to standing by him as he continues to champion developmental drives in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

Also, the second Vice CDC Chairman and Member, Elders Council, Hon. Iyabode Salisu expressed gratitude for the JB's efforts and acknowledged the positive changes his gestures have brought to various communities in the LCDA, while thanking Aroyewun for the choice of Agunfoye Community.

A new Chief Imam for the Igbogbo Central Mosque has been installed. He is Fadeelat Imam Abdulganiu Gazali , who was turbaned on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, as Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque and Grand Chief Imam Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA. He succeeds the late Fadilat Sheikh Dhikirulahi Abdulahi Andu (Tanimose) who died on the 2nd of June, 2025. Gazali , before his installation, was the Chief Imam Araromi Mosque , Itun-Abosan. He is from Amoju branch of Lantan Onanusi Family, Igbogbo, and was graduated from different Arabic and Islamic Colleges.
