CHILDREN, FAMILIES, OTHERS STAGE A BEFITTING BURIAL FOR LATE KOLAWOLE AKINSANYA IN IKORODU. ....Monarchs, Legislators, Council Chairmen, Others in attendance.


It was all pomp and pageantry at the burial ceremony for Late Alhaji Saheed Kolawole Akinsanya, popularly called 'Baba Pep', in Ikorodu. The four walls of the Musical Village Hall were full to capacity for guests of timber and caliber. People came out in larger numbers to bade farewell to the late police officer.

It became the gathering of the 'who is who', high profiled persons from all walks of life, both home and abroad graced the occasions on Saturday, January 23, 2025.

Guests enjoyed classic hospitality from the wife of the deceased, Mrs Akinsanya, Children, and the family, as a variety of refreshements including choice drinks, continental and local dishes were served.

A Fuji music Star, Alhaji Ramoni Akanni was on stage to provide musical entertainment. The burial drew dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers who came together to celebrate a life well lived and to comfort the family.

Late Alhaji Kolawole Akinsanya, who died Sunday, August 19, 2024, was the former President, Grassroots Sports Development Forum (GSDF), former Vice Chairman, Ikorodu Divisional Football Association (IDFA), a former Team Manager, Pepsi Academy, Founder, Greater Tomorrow and former Coordinator, Safety First Initiative.
