BABAJIMI BENSON FACILITATES DISTRIBUTION OF SAFETY JACKETS TO ROYAL HEADS, CHIEFS, IN IKORODU DIVISION. | Shakiru Seidu.

Hon Babajimi Benson, member, House of Reps, representing Ikorodu federal constituency, was on Tuesday pallied with the Lagos State Waterways Authority, LASWA, to facilitate distribution of over 100 life jackets to Royal Heads and Chiefs in Ikorodu Division, in continuation of the agency’s Water Safety Awareness programme. The Babajimi Benson's iCARE Foundation Team led the distributions of the life Jackets with some of the management team of LASWA, to the Palaces of Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Ranodu of Imota, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Obateru of Egbin, Alajede of Ijede, Sekumade of Ipakodo and Olubeshe of Ibeshe land. The House of Reps member, representing Ikorodu federal constituency, Hon Babajimi Benson, has again extended his magnanimity to the residents of Olori Power line community Eyita, in Ikorodu, by making four of their street roads motorable. The passion for education of Hon Wasiu Olowu, Councillor of Ward C2, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, was put to test on Monday, April 29, 2019, when he visited Salvation Army primary School, Agunfoye, Igbogbo, to present repaired Desks and Benches to the School. While addressing the Teachers and Pupils, Olowu said, it is actually the responsibility of the Local Government to oversee and provide necessary amenities for primary education, but he took it upon himself to visit the School to know what and what to do for the pupils. He advised the pupils to remain faithful and obedient to their parents, and also take their studies as priority. The Head Teacher, Mrs Azeez Lateefat Taiwo, while speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, expressed her sincere appreciation to the Councillor. The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo land and Fadeelatul-Sheik Al-Imam Dhikrullahi Andu Tanimose, Grand Imam Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, on Friday in Igbogbo, Lagos State, led over 10 Monarchs, highly respected religious leaders, traditional Chiefs, State and federal Legislators, former State Cabinet members, Council Chiefs and good people of Igbogbo Kingdom, to commission the town’s Ultra-Modern Central Mosque.
