SUCCOR AS WARD C2 COUNCILLOR, WASIU OLOWU, REPAIRS DESKS, BENCHES, FOR PUPILS OF SALVATION ARMY PRIMARY SCHOOL AGUNFOYE, IGBOGBO. | Shakiru Seidu.

The passion for education of Hon Wasiu Olowu, Councillor of Ward C2, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, was put to test on Monday, April 29, 2019, when he visited Salvation Army primary School, Agunfoye, Igbogbo, to present repaired Desks and Benches to the School.

While addressing the Teachers and Pupils, Olowu said, it is actually the responsibility of the Local Government to oversee and provide necessary amenities for primary education, but he took it upon himself to visit the School to know what and what to do for the pupils. He advised the pupils to remain faithful and obedient to their parents, and also take their studies as priority.

The Head Teacher, Mrs Azeez Lateefat Taiwo, while speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, expressed her sincere appreciation to the Councillor. She affirmed that Hon Wasiu Olowu would be the first Councillor in the history of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA to give such gesture to the School. 

The HM however, urged him to remain focused and never allow distractions to take possession of his representation. 

The Parent Forum Chairman, Chief Adetilola Shakiru, Parent Forum PRO, Mrs Shoyemi Idowu, APC Chairman, Ward C2 Igbogbo, Alhaji Daisi Omotayo, Mr Animasaun, Shakiru Seidu, Adeyemi Benson and some Council Staff were also in attendance.
