IGBOGBO/BAYEKU COUNCIL BOSS, OLUSESAN DAINI LAYS FOUNDATION FOR ULTRA-MODERN LEGISLATIVE BUILDING. ...Monarch, APC Chieftains, Others commend initiative.

The Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Daini, has laid the foundation for a new ultramodern Legislative Building for the LCDA. The ground-breaking event was held at the Council Secretariat in Igbogbo, Lagos.

Speaking at the ceremony, Daini said the new structure was conceived to enhance productivity and create a conducive atmosphere for the workforce of the LCDA. He added that the building will house the legislative and administrative arms of the LCDA.

He said, “the office space of our legislative arm is not that spacious for legislative activities. So the new building will have wings accommodating the administrative and the legislative staff.

The achievements of this administration have been remarkable, especially in the areas of staff welfare and infrastructure development. I want to use this opportunity to mention that this administration is concerned with the wellbeing of its people.”

Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, a GAC Member and APC Apex Leader in Ikorodu Division, described the ground-breaking event as the best thing that could happen to the council.

He said, “The purpose of government is to develop the people and the Community. This is what we have experienced in Igbogbo-Bayeku LCDA with the Daini-led administration."

We are happy that the local authority is investing hugely in infrastructural development and also the welfare of the people and workers of the council.”

The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, equally commended the foresight of Sesan Daini, in initiating such a transformative project.

The monarch emphasized the positive impact the new legislative and administrative building would bring to the community, fostering a conducive environment for decision-making and governance.

The building is said to be completed in 12 months.
