"Eniyan boni l'ara j'aso lo" was the scenario gathered by MegaXpression Magazine at the burial of an elder statesman in Igbogbo, Alhaji Bashir Mustapha Kalejaiye. The death of the reputable man occurred on Tuesday, 22nd of August, 2017, at the age of 88 and he was buried 4pm same day, according to the Muslim rite.

Some of the reputable personalities that attended the burial ceremony were: HRM Oba Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, who was ably represented by the Palace Chiefs headed by Odofin of Igbogbo and Chief Jelili Oduntan, the Balogun of Igbogbo.

Others were Chief Olatunji Odusanya mni, Dr. Jaiye Ogunlewe, Chief Mrs Fausat Gbadebo, Prince Adesegun Ogunlewe, Chief Okusanya, Mr Wale Obayomi, Chief Bashir Disu, Alhaji Sheik Imam Olowooribi, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola and Comrade Olusesan Daini who were ably represented by some of their aides.

Also in attendance were Melolu family, Ijaolu Royal family, the leadership of Igbogbo Central Mosque, led by Sheik Dhikirulahi Andu Tanimose, different groups and associations among others.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
