Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has empowered 30 youths in different agricultural areas at the Nigerian Army Resettlement Centre, Oshodi, Lagos State. 50 participants were said to be enrolled but only 30 made it to the training venue on the commencement day due to the EndSars protest. Room and board were equally catered for throughout the training. According to the erudite lawmaker, he said this year's training is the first batch and it'll be a biannual event, noting that his choice for a knowledge- based empowerment programme for youths in Ikorodu Federal Constituency was geared towards making them economic giants. The Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ikorodu constituency 1, Hon SOB Agunbiade has revealed that the attack made to his Ikorodu house on October 23, 2020, was aimed to humiliate or kill him, noting that the Paliatives in question were Ca-Covid pallitives given to all members of the house of Assembly in the month of October 2020. The Lagos State Government has directed all pupils/students in public and private schools to stay at home following the tension generated by the anti- SARS protests. Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, who issued the directive today, said the safety of the pupils/students, parents and all staff working in schools is paramount at this critical period. She however advised parents to keep an eye on their wards and not allow them to be used as willing tools in the hands of those who might want to hijack the protests to unleash mayhem on the society. The Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA of Lagos State, Bldr. Olusesan Mayokun Daini, on Saturday joined the youths of the LCDA in the 'End SARS' protest.
