DAINI CONVENES STAKEHOLDERS MEETING ON SECURITY IN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. ...Relaxes the minds of residents on bad roads.
The Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and PRO of Conference 57 Chairmen, Bldr Olusesan Mayokun Daini, has once again summoned a stakeholders meeting on Security and development of the LCDA.
The meeting which held at the Adeboruwa Palace Igbogbo, came against the background of recent development in the aftermath of #EndSars protest and attempted looting of the houses of some community leaders, MegaXpression reports.
Chairman Daini said he is committed to the protection of lives and properties, and emphasized the need for relevant groups involved to come together to profer a solution to addressing the ugly trend that might happened in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, disclosing that the attendant threat to lives and property of some community leaders was the reason for the stakeholders security meeting with concerned groups.
Addressing stakeholders, Daini said the security of lives and property was one of the key policy of his administration, appreciating the impact of the security agents, elders and youths of Igbogbo/Bayieku LCDA for preventing all form of massacre and ensuring violence free community. He mentioned the roles played by the LCDA towards staging EndSARS peaceful protest without chaos.
Daini, therefore assured that all agitations made by organizations has been heard by the government, noting that worked has commenced on it. He said his government is equally worried at the increasing rate of cult crisis, saying that a holistic approach to combat the menace would be put in place.
The Chairman equally made used of the opportunity to relax the mind of residents and commuters of Oreta/Offin road, Ajose Ibeshe road, Igbogbo/ Bayeku road, Ijaolu Elepe road and Igbogbo/Igbe road, revealing that government of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is committed to the rehabilitation of roads. "As a government, we are also not leaving any stone unturned to ensure compensation are paid to the demolished structures of Igbogbo/ Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ Igbe road rehabilitation," he added.
Daini further sued for collaboration with the residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA on development and appealed to CDAs, Bases and youths, to support the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA Joint Task Force to be proactive in combating crime and provide adequate security for people.
Reacting, the traditional Chiefs from Adeboruwa Palace Igbogbo and Olubeshe Palace Ibeshe, called for a harmonious relationship between the security Joint task force and residents of the LCDA.
Chief Riliwan Katola, Onisemo of Ibeshe land also thanked the youth for their maturity duringthe EndSars protest. While Chief Musibau Alade, Odofin Ibeshe urged the council Chairman to pay more attention to cultism. He equally demandedfor more transformers for the people of Ibeshe community and njoined him to create job opportunity.
The Balogun Igbogbo, Alhaji Jelili Odutan, solicited for Trust fund for the Security Joint task force of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, telling the chairman to also address the transporters on the transport fare and implored government to include responsibility for the traditional chiefs in the constitution.
In the same vein, the Odofin Igbogbo, High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, applauded the group leader of the EndSars protest, Dolapo Ewulogbo, and others for the peaceful protest in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
He thanked the Chairman on the new ultra modern office complex built by his administration, enjoining government to create employment opportunity for the youths.
The CDC, Pastor Adelakun, said the CDAs have been playing a supporting role for the security joint task force, noting that the CDAs Igbogbo/Bayeku is peaceful and he urged various individuals to make use of social media positively.
The attendance include the local security operatives, CDC Executive, Bases/groups, Adeboruwa-in- Council, Olubeshe-in- Council, youth groups. Council Officials, amongst several others.
