A FOREMOST INDUSTRIALIST, ALHAJI WAIDI ADEKUNLE JINODU-ESHO DIED, LAID TO REST IN IGBOGBO. Adeboruwa-in- Council, Ansar-ul-deen Society, families, others mourn the great philanthropist.
It was indeed very shocking when the sudden death of a foremost industrialist and the first 'Ogbeni-Oja' of Igbogbo Kingdom, Alhaji Chief Waidi Adekunle Jinodu, was announced. Jin-Esho, as he's popularly called died on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at the age of 71 after a brief illness, and later committed to mother earth according to the muslim rites at his residence in Igbogbo, Lagos.
At his burial today, members of the Ansar-ul-deen society of Nigeria, traditional Chiefs, Honorary Chiefs, Business Moguls, Industrialists, political Players, officials of Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA amidst friends and family members, came out in large number to give last respect at the burial of a philanthropist and a true indulstrialist.
Before his death, MegaXpression News learnt that, Chief Jinadu Esho, who was conferred with 'Ogbeni-Oja' of Igbogbo Kingdom last year by HRM Oba Abdul Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, was born into the family of Jinadu of Adeyoruwa descendant family of Itun-Moro area in Igbogbo, Lagos State, on June 22, 1949.
His parents were Alhaji Lasisi Jinadu popularly known as “Baba Ologun-Ebi” and Alhaja, Simbiat Alli-Osikoya Jinadu alias “Iya Esho Oje remain” both of whom are now deceased.
Chief Jin-Esho, as he's popularly called, joined Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) in 1973 and voluntarily retired from service in 1985. He became a major player in the importation of spare parts from foreign countries by establishing his business name as JIN-ESHO COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES in 1977.
He is the first industrious indigenous Bread Baker by opening his first Bread Bakery in Igbogbo in 1981 tagged “JIN-ESHO BREAD” and has established more Bakeries in the nooks and crannies of Ikorodu Division of Lagos state.
In the expansion of his commercialize experiences; Jin-Esho invested in transportation in 1986 and also he is an expert in all kinds of life-fish. He became an integral part of the Bakers association of Nigeria, Ikorodu zone and at present, he is now the patron of the same association.
He belongs to a number of social clubs which includes Pioneer Club, Igbogbo since 1969, Harmony Brothers Club, Ikorodu for almost 10 years too and executive member of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC).
He his survived by wives, children and great grand children.
