VANDALISING, MASSIVE LOOTING OF MY HOUSE, AN ATTEMPT TO GIVE ME A PHYSIOLOGICAL TRAUMA, HON. SOB AGUNBIADE REVEALS. ...Says the invaders were sponsored and came with Guns.

The Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ikorodu constituency 1, Hon SOB Agunbiade has revealed that the attack made to his Ikorodu house on October 23, 2020, was aimed to humiliate or kill him, noting that the Paliatives in question were Ca-Covid pallitives given to all members of the house of Assembly in the month of October 2020.

The lawmaker made this known to the public on Thursday, during a stakeholders meeting, held at the 700 Seater Hall in Laspotech, Ikorodu, stating that the blackmailer went to photoshop a warehouse were people are bringing out palliatives and said that the whole of Ikorodu's palliatives were stored in his house.

"These palliatives in question consists of 120 packs of indomie noodles and 50 branded bags of assorted dry food in the name of the Lagos State Government. And the palliatives were not gotten from my house but from a store close to my house. They attacked my house and looted everything they found afterwards," Agunbiade revealed.

"I wanted to give out food items on my Birthday, they were not government palliatives, they were bought at my own expense. I wanted to give widows mite on my birthday to 50 Widows across my constituency and to give N50,000 each to them," Agunbiade added.

"Some people are trying to blacking my face and demarcate me, but he, who God want to bless, he will bless. And I know that action shall be judged according to intentions. So let God judge me according to my actions.

"They claimed that they came for Covid-19 palliatives, but go ahead to vandalise my house, go away with my flat screen televisions, took all my praying mats, shoes, clothes, international passport, my clothes with the ones of my wife, jewelries, phones, laptop computers, chairs, tables, seminar bags, government materials and my certificates, not leaving my dogs without being stolen.

"However, those materials stolen from my house are not exactly palliatives, they are food items that I subsequently bought to distribute for my constituents on my birthday. I've bought palliatives with my money more than three times and distributes it to every stakeholders in my constituency," the lawmaker revealed.

Agunbiade further stated that the intention was to make him have a physiological trauma, saying that he leaves them for God to judge. "The battle is for God to fight and I'm sure he's going to fight my battle," he noted.

"Five of those that invaded my house were with guns, but the good news is that the Onyabo and the Nigerian Police have arrested some of those that engages in such act," Agunbiade stated.

The Opomulero of Ikorodu, Hon Agunbiade, equally stated that the aftermath of Covid-19 pandemic and the EndSars protests have no doubt affected the economic growth of Nigeria, noting the decrease in the income of sales and increase in the level of unemployment in Nigeria and Lagos in particular.
