The 3 days Budget Retreat of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, which ended on 18th day of December, 2024, was filled with bountiful offers and programmes for the people of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA in 2025. Igbogbo All-Star FC on Sunday emerged winner of the Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro's All Stars Unity Cup Competition, by defeating Makbet All-Star FC in the final match at the Nepa Playing Ground, Egbin, Ijede LCDA. The Igbogbo All-Star FC defeated the Makbet All-Star FC 10 – 9 penalty shootout to lift the trophy. Playing in front of hundreds of spectators, the two sides opened the encounter in a hurry to undo each other. They continued by throwing in everything to put the ball at the back of the net, only for the two teams' defense to stand solid at the back. The two teams were became more desperate to savage the situation, but all efforts by the both sides to score in the first half proved abortive.
