IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA ROUND OFF 3 DAYS 2025 BUDGET RETREAT WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS IN 2025. | "Developmental programmes, projects to continue till the last day in office," Council Chairman, Sesan Daini assures.
The 3 days Budget Retreat of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, which ended on 18th day of December, 2024, was filled with bountiful offers and programmes for the people of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA in 2025.
On the first day of the programme, each department presented reports of its activities and programmes held in the year (2024) under review. The Executive Chairman, Builder Olusesan Daini, who presided over the Retreat, expressed joy over the performance of departments and committees, while he also commended his co-travellers, Cabinet Members and the Legislative Arm, for their wonderful support in the year 2024.

After the review of the 2024 budget performance, the Heads of various Departments were allowed to present and defend their financial proposals for the year 2025, which were scrutinized by members on the high table, comprising; the Executive Chairman, his Vice – Hon. Nureni Okedina-Maja, Secretary to the LCDA, Barrister Ade Ayeni, Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Nurudeen Alimi, Council Manager and Council Treasurer.
The peak of the Retreat was the leadership mentorship and advise from the Apex Leaders of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, which had the presence of the former Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, and Member Lagos Seventh Assembly, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Member Lagos Sixth Assembly, Hon. Gbenga Oshin, APC Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon. Taiwo Orenuga, former Chairmen Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA, Alhaji Jimoh Ogunmuyiwa, Hon. Gbenga Basanya and Yeye Bolanle Basorun, former APC LGA Chairmen, Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, and Pastor Ola Ayetoba, Alhaji Jamiu Benson, Alhaji Olawale Abdulai and Prince Shakiru Odusanya.
The Apex Chairman and member, Governance Advisory Council GAC, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, former Minister and Member Governance Advisory Council GAC, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, and former Commissioner for Agric, Asipa Koali Olusanya, sent apologies for their unavoidably absence due to state engagement.
The Apex Leaders in attendance commended the Executive Chairman, Builder Olusesan Daini, for the massive projects he has executed and the strategic positioning of the party with his life impacting community services which has cushioned the effect of economic hardship and has made the party leaders proud in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
