CHIEF KAOLI OLUSANYA HAILS PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU'S REFORMS, BOLD LEADERSHIP. ...Installed as 'Asiwaju' of Ibesheland.

An APC Chieftain in Ikorodu Division and former Commissioner for Agric, Lagos State, Chief Kaoli Olatunji Olusanya, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his bold and progressive leadership and initiatives since assumption of office in 2023.

Olusanya gave the commendation while addressing MegaXpression Media and other Newsmen in a press conference at his Ibeshe residence, Ikorodu , Lagos, on Thursday, December 26, 2024, in preparation for his new Chieftancy title, as the Asiwaju of Ibesheland, describing some of the President’s decisions as historic and crucial to reshape the future of the nation.

He said: “The President’s visionary leadership and approval of groundbreaking initiatives aimed at driving socio-economic growth and improving the lives of all Nigerians are truly commendable. The Tax Reform Policy and Local Government Authonomy are both aimed at benefiting the people at the grassroots."

“In the face of current economic challenges, President Tinubu’s administration has set an ambitious agenda for reform. The decisions made underscore his steadfast commitment to building a more prosperous and inclusive Nigeria for all. The implementation of these measures will undoubtedly lay the foundation for a brighter future for all Nigerians.

“As Nigeria embarks on this transformative journey, let us rally behind President Tinubu’s visionary leadership and work together, irrespective of our political affiliation and ethnicity, to realise the full potential of our great nation,” Chief Kaoli Olusanya stated.

The MegaXpression Media has reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has embarked on several reforms to reposition the country since his assumption of office on May 29, 2023.

On his new Chieftancy title as Asiwaju of Ibesheland, Olusanya said he took the title as a responsibility to do more to the community, noting that he'll be able to be conveying the feelings of the grassroots to the appropriate quarters towards the growth and development of Ibesheland, and by extension, Ikorodu Division, as he normally does.

"The people at the grassroots see us as the representative of Mr President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. So we must take their feelings to Mr President, and also educate and inform them about the transformative reforms of Mr President.

"There is hope in this government, and we are very confident of Mr President. He is someone I have worked with his administration as a Commissioner, when he was Governor of Lagos State. We know his anticidence, ruggedness and determination to turn dreams to a reality. 

"Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will definitely restore Nigeria to its back glory. That's the message I have brought to the people of Ibesheland and Ikorodu Division in general," Chief Kaoli Olusanya explained.

The gathering was thereafter proceeded and joined an organized rally in honour of his new Chieftancy Title as Asiwaju of Ibesheland, by His Royal Majesty, Oba Richard Ogunsanya, the Olubeshe of Ibeshe. He was accompanied to Olubeshe Palace, where Monarchs and other notable figures in the society were seated. The final ceremony was scheduled to hold on Saturday, 28th December, 2024.

Also at the presss conference were his wife, Yeye Asiwaju of Ibesheland, Chief (Mrs) Olukemi Olanrewaju Olusanya, former Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Lanre Balogun, APC Chairman in Ikorodu Division, Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, Vice Chairman Ikorodu Local Government and Chairman, Vice Chairmen's Forum in Nigeria, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, and APC Chieftain in Ikorodu, Chief Badru Enifeni.

Others notable dignitaries at the Olubeshe Palace were royal fathers, His Royal Majesties, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom and Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Dr. Wole Ajifowoke, Sheikh Dhikirulahi Abdullahi Tanimose Andu, Chief Imam Igbogbo Central Mosque, Hon. Azeez Jimoh Olosugbo, Barrister Ade Ayeni, Mr Shakiru Seidu, Ibeshe Palace Chiefs, APC Stalwarts, amongst others.
