Convener of A+ DISCIPLES and former Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, gathered hundreds of her followers particularly members of A+ DISCIPLES with their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to boost the second term election of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in 2019. This was revealed on Saturday, during this month's General Assembly of A+ DISCIPLES, in Igbogbo, Lagos State.

Hon. Akinsola said the monthly solidarity gathering and continuous praise, singing Ambode's return in 2019 without necessarily following up by obtaining voter cards, which qualifies individuals to vote in the next election, are not enough. She said Ambode has made Lagos State most peaceful State in the Country today because of his uncommon achievements. She added: “Endorsement without PVC is not authenticated and so, endorsement with PVC is the real thing to do.”

The Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Titilola Adegboyega, who is also a member of A+ DISCIPLES, eloquently commended Gov. Ambode, saying Ambode has demonstrated excellent performances that are visible in Lagos State.

He said, “Ambode’s performance has beaten our imagination since 2015 he assumed office, hence the reason we are staking all to ensure he continues in 2019.”

Prince Jimoh Ogunmuyiwa, former Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and also the Chairman, A+ DISCIPLES, told MegaXpression Magazine that the monthly meeting is to galvanise and sensitise the people on the need to collect the unclaimed voter cards lying at INEC offices, most especially in Ikorodu Division.

“We have to embark on this as 2019 general elections draw close and to ensure that people participate in the processes that lead to the choice of Mr Akinwunmi Ambode,” he said.

MegaXpression Magazine gathered that the group went into special prayers in Islamic, Christian and traditional ways for the success of the incumbent Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode and the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for protection and unquantified wisdom to continue guiding the Party.
