COMMENDATION AS JIMI BENSON FLAGS OFF LAMBO LASUNWON ROAD TO COMMEMORATE 52ND BIRTHDAY | Shakiru Seidu. ... Monarch, Community Leaders, Others Applaud gesture.


Lawmaker, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has flagged off the construction of 1.6km Lambo Lasunwon road Ikorodu. This coincided with his 52nd birthday celebration. The road makes it the 45th roads facilitated for his constituents. The road was said to be completed in the third quarter of year 2024.

In his eloquent remarks, Benson highlighted the significance of Lambo Lasunwon road to the economic development of the axis while equally demonstrating his strong commitment to community welfare.

Benson, who was ably represented by the DG of iCare Foundation, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola, also unfolded  plans for future development, adding that the potential construction of Agbede road is intact, while residents are required for smooth and prompt execution on all ongoing projects.

A Governance Advisory Council, GAC Member, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, applauded Jimi Benson for his unprecedented performance across Ikorodu Federal Constituency, noting that his unwavering dedication to improving the welfare of his constituents would always be remembered. 

Also, the Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Adeola Adebisi Banjo, expressed deep joy and appreciation for Benson’s performance, adding that his administration has truly benefited from Benson’s gestures. “We are grateful for your good work, and may Almighty God be with you,” the Chairman prayed.

Meanwhile, Hon. Adeola Muyideen Jokomba, State Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), commended Benson’s numerous projects in Ikorodu North LCDA while pleading with the residents to cooperate with the contractors.

Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, an APC Chieftain Ikorodu, equally commended Benson’s ability to consistently but smile on the faces of constituents. He emphasized the significance of Lambo Lasuwon road, stating that it's a long-awaited project that brings much-needed relief to the people after years of suffering. 

In his royal remarks, HRM Oba Olukayode David Raji, the Eweye of Isiwu, thanked Benson for the multitude of projects being executed by him in Ikorodu North and the entire Ikorodu Division. “Like Oliver Twist, we eagerly anticipate more from Babajimi Benson.” the Monarch requested.
