REP. JIMI BENSON CUSHIONS HARDSHIP, DISTRIBUTES FOOD ITEMS TO CONSTITUENTS FOR RAMADAN. | Shakiru Seidu.

The Chairman House Committee on Defence, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has again repeated his monthly gesture of giving another set of food items to over 500 vulnerable constituents in Ikorodu. 

The March 2024 edition was held at his constituency office in Igbogbo, where beneficiaries were presented with these consumables.

The iCARE Foodbank is an initiative of Rep. Babajimi Benson’s iCare Foundation that distributes, on monthly basis, food and grocery products to individuals and vulnerable families within Ikorodu Division. These items are packaged in a bag called ‘APO AANU’.

According to the erudite Lawmaker, “I am committed to improving the standard of living of my constituents. This gesture will go a long way in improving on the standard of living of the people of my constituency. I want smiles to always be on their faces and with joy.”

The federal lawmaker, who was represented at this month's edition by the DG, iCARE Foundation, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola, also reiterated JB's resolve to deliver quality representation at the National Assembly in the interest of the development of his consitituents, hinting that more developmental projects are still in the offing for the people of Ikorodu federal constituency.
