PRESIDENT TINUBU WILL RESTORE NIGERIA'S ECONOMY, REP. JIMI BENSON TELLS CONSTITUENTS. | Shakiru Seidu. ...Says Mega Empowerment, Construction of Abule-Eko/ Ewu-Owa Road coming-up soon.

The Chairman House Committee on Defence and the esteemed representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR, has revealed to his Constituents that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR is working tirelessly to reposition Nigeria's economy and committed to a better Nigeria. Adding that the APC led administration is steadily strengthening and repositioning the nation’s economy for sustainable stability and real visible growth.

Benson made this known while addressing 972 Wards and LGAs Exco members in another quarterly consultative town-hall meeting at his Constituency Town Hall Meeting, on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Igbogbo, Lagos State.

The erudite Lawmaker reiterated that President Tinubu had the political will and capacity to fix the economy and other national challenges, adding that the various reforms of the present administration would soon yield more desired results.

Benson described the policy trust of the administration as practical, methodical and strategically geared towards unlocking of the nation’s productive potentials and reigniting creativity with huge employment opportunities in all spheres for innovative Nigerians, particularly the youths.

He stressed that with the steady implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda and the embracing of its principles by Nigerians, the hardship being faced in the country would soon be a thing of the past.

“President Tinubu is a listening leader and silent achiever. He is not given to propaganda, media hypes, and showboating. He is focused on the mandate, and his achievements are non-speculative but real and verifiable.

“His policies are practical methodical and strategically geared towards unlocking the productive potentials of the nation. With the steady implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda and its acceptance by Nigerians, this administration is silently reigniting the ingenuity of Nigerians and creating massive job opportunities, especially for our youths in every sphere of the economy," the Lawmaker stated.

Benson further expressed utmost gratitude to residents of Ikorodu federal Constituency for not taking part in the hardship protest. “Your presence here today renewed my joy because none of my Constituents in Ikorodu federal Constituency took part in the hardship protest. This reiterated the fact that you believe in the leadership capacity of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR," JB opined.

Thereafter, Benson revealed to members of his Constituency to look forward to Mega Empowerment from him very soon, and another construction of 4.5km Abule-Eko/ Ewu-Owa road Ijede in no distance time. "We have completed 54 roads so far in Ikorodu federal Constituency, and the figure will definitely increase to 70 roads completion by this year's December," Benson promised.

Earlier, the Lawmaker, representing Ikorodu Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro AMA, Chairmen Igbogbo/Bayeku and Ijede LCDAs, Builder Olusesan Daini and Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, were all appreciated the Wards and LGAs Excos, assuring them of more good things to come to Ikorodu federal constituency through Rep. Babajimi Benson.

Meanwhile, APC Chairman Ikorodu, Hon. Olasunkanmi Tijani, on behalf of all other LGA Chairmen from Ikorodu Division, appreciated God for the gift of Jimi Benson in Ikorodu federal Constituency, adding that the Lawmaker had performed beyond expectations. “There’s no Ward in Ikorodu Division that Benson has not touched,” TJ said.

Special prayers were thereafter conducted for Rep. Jimi Benson by Muslim and Christian Clerics.
