The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, was on Wednesday installed Chief Jamiu Olayiwola Abube, as the first Baale of Adegbose Community of Orita merin, Ibelefun, Igbogbo, Lagos State.
The host venue, Adeboruwa Palace, was full to capacity with turn out of families, indigenes, friends, business associates, sons and daughters of Adegbose Community, as the monarch and Chiefs performed the necessary rites on the newly installed Baale, Chief Abube.
After being installed, the Baale, Chief Jamiu Olayiwola Abube said, “I see this title as a privilege to oversee and add value to Adegbose community and that is the reason why my family members, both home and abroad were happy to nominate me as worthy to fill the position."
He therefore thanked Igbogbo monarch, members of Adeboruwa-in-Council and Adegbose family for considering him for the exulted position.
In his loan of advise, Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, said to the newly installed Baale to use this responsibility to improve on the development of Adegbose Community, more so, to protect and defend the image and integrity of Adeboruwa and Igbogbo Kingdom at large.
In his Royal remarks, HRM Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, congratulated the Adegbose family on the choice of Chief Jamiu Olayiwola Abube, as their representative at the Palace. He admonished the new Baale to be loyal, submissive, supportive and act on the interest of his family members and Igbogbo Kingdom.
