LG ELECTIONS: HON. AKINSOLA'S APC ADVOCACY FORUM HOSTS COUNCILLORSHIP CANDIDATES OF IGBOGBO/ BAYEKU LCDA. ...Charges electorates to vote Hammed Aroyewun, Others, on 12th July.


The APC Advocacy Forum, a political group that is aimed at propagating the policies and good work of the All Progressives Congress, APC's rulling government, at the grassroots, was on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 hosted the Councilorship Candidates in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

In her eloquent welcome address, the Convener of the Forum and Member of the APC Apex Body, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, congratulated the APC Chairmanship and Councilorship Candidates, urging them to put in their possible best to justify the opportunity given to them by the party.

Akinsola said the APC Apex Body of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA have done its best to come this far. "At the Apex level, we have come together to get to where we are, it is now left for all of you to justify the mandate given to you by making us proud when you get to your various offices," Akinsola opined.

In her response, the Ward C1 Councilorship Candidate and Deputy Leader, fifth legislative Arm, Hon. Basirat Adetutu Banjoko thanked members of APC Advocacy Forum for their acceptance and love, noting that they came to appreciate their support during the party's Primaries.

Also, the Ward C3 Councilorship Candidate, Hon. Saidat Adeoba Odeyemi, commended Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, for her consistence and loyalty to the Party, while praying that the leader would not labour in vein.

The Councilorship Candidate of Ward C4, Hon. Yusuf Olalekan Bello, equally thanked Hon. Akinsola and members of APC Advocacy Forum, for their unflinching love and support. He urged members of the APC to continue serving the party, noting that the reward will surely come one day.

Hon. Hakeem Solawon of Ward C2 and Hon. Habib Anifowose were unavoidably not present due to another political engagement.

Special prayers were thereafter reigned on the five Councilorship Candidates of the APC by the prayer warriors among the Muslim and Christian members.

Meanwhile, the APC Chairmanship Candidate and his Vice, Hon. Hammed Aroyewun and Barrister Ade Ayeni, were also promised to visit the APC Advocacy Forum in no distance time.
