The Andus D'Great School Igbogbo, Lagos State, was on Saturday, August 30, 2025, held its Valedictory Service and Graduation ceremony at the School premises, along Offin/Oreta road Igbogbo, celebrating its outstanding Students with Awards, and a strong message of focus through diversity. The ceremony also featured inspiring speech by Professor Akintunde Otubu, a Professor of Property Law, University of Lagos, Akoja, Lagos State.
The gathering was a sight to behold as parents, students and staff of the School, including members of its board, were gaily dressed in different eye-catching outfits.
Delivering his Valedictory speech, the Director of Andus D'Great School, Nosiru Titilope Andu-Balogun Ph.D, who's currently in America and ably represented by a senior Consultant, JP James Alabi FCA, thanked all those who graced the occasion, and congratulated the graduating Students, charging them to continue making the School proud, as they strive for excellence in academics, and behaviour worthy of emulation.
He said, "I extend a heartfelt welcome to you all, with special appreciation to our graduating Class of 2025. We celebrate your remarkable achievements, as evidenced by the school's outstanding performance in the 2024 BECE, 2025 WAEC, and 2025 JAMB Examination. These successes reflect our unwavering commitment to our vision of "Teaching with Love, Compassion, and Zeal.
"Today, as we revel in the joy of this ceremony, we also express profound gratitude to our parents for their steadfast support and investment in their children's education. Your embrace of our transition to e-notes, despite the added cost of tables and laptops, has yielded exceptional results.
"To our dear graduands, parting with you is not easy. Yet, I am confident that each of you is poised to thrive in your chosen paths. I urge you to pursue your passion with diligence, seek parental and divine guidance, and trust in your potential.
"The world awaits your talents, and we at Andus D'Great Schools eagerly anticipate hearing of your future successes. Stay connected, as your achievements will always be our pride."
Meanwhile, the School Principal, Mrs Folake Ogunsanya, described the moment as “a culmination of years of learning, character building, and community strength.”
"The Students' performance, both in junior and senior college, has stepped up the ladder of success to 99% academic achievement. The WAEC and JAMB results for this session have been a testament to their hard work and dedication. These Examination have not only assessed their knowledge but also taught them invaluable lessons about perseverance and resilience," Ogunsanya stated.
The Awards thereafter came in five different categories, Nursery, Primary, Junior College, Senior College and top Departmental Best in 2025 WAEC, and presented to the outstanding Students.
Other notable personalities in attendance include Mrs. Balogun Adejoje, Dr. Shola, Chief Imam Agunfoye, Alhaja Khadija Balogun, Hon. Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, Mr Shakiru Moritan Seidu SMS, Otunba Olalemi Ganiu, Mrs Senbore, Mrs. Abayomi, Mr. Oyetunde Kabir, amongst others.
