SECURITY THREAT: IKORODU SETS TO HOLD CRUCIAL MEETING WITH COMMISSIONER OF POLICE. ...Royal Heads, religious leaders, local security operatives, political office holders, groups, others are expected to be in attendance on January 27.


Following the spate of killings arising from various shades of criminalities and cultism which have in recent times made lkorodu Division a dreaded place to visit, reside or transact business, it has become imperative for HRM Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Otunba Ganiu Abiru led Ikorodu Development Association, IKODASS and other major stakeholders, to chart a new course that would avert recurrence of all forms of nefarious activities within lkorodu and its environs.

According to the IKODASS Secretary, Alhaji Pelaiye Jamiu Okanlawon, in a press release made available for MegaXpression News recently, "a security meeting has been scheduled to hold on Wednesday, January 27, at Ikorodu Town Hall, by 10am, with the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, while all our Royal fathers across Ikorodu Division will be in attendance, to discuss the raging issue of insecurity and by extension profer solutions to the same," he said. 

"The security of our Division is a collective responsibility. Let us join hands to bring back the fast fading glory of our Division. May God help us as we also help ourselves in this Security crusade by taking positive action towards stemming the tide of pervasive insecurity in this Division and Lagos State at large," Pelaiye added.
