CHARISMARTIN INT'L SCHOOLS HOLD ANNUAL INTER-HOUSE SPORTS COMPETITION, AS EMMANUEL HOUSE WINS TROPHY. | Shakiru Seidu. ..It's aimed at promoting mental alertness of our pupils, students, Pastor (Mrs) Charis Abiodun Akinsanya reveals.

It was another memorable moment on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the open field of Charismatin International Schools, situated at Gbaga community, Ikorodu, Lagos, when the Schools had its annual Inter House Sports competitions. 

The event witnessed great encounters between Red House of Micheal, Blue House of Emmanuel, Yellow House of Raphael and Green House of Mathew. It was no doubt a historic sporting competitions to the pupils, students, invited schools and also the dignitaries.

The colourful March Past, the highly competitive races and several other sporting activities among the Houses got the guests glued to the sports ground.

The result from Charismartin March Past, Blue House carried 3rd position with 94 points, Green House carried 2nd position with 108 points while Yellow House carried 1st position with 112 points. 

At the end of the full sporting activities, the Blue House took the leadership Trophy by lifting the prestigious Cup after clinching the first position in a grand style. Red House claimed the second position,  while Yellow House emerged the third winners respectively.

While speaking with MegaXpression Media, Revd. (Mrs) Abiodun Charis Akinsanya, revealed that the event was aimed at promoting mental alertness in pupils and students of Charismartin International Schools, maintaining physical fitness, creating a formidable interaction among the staff, students and pupils.

"We are aimed at developing the psychomotor domain of learning for all round-education, elevating a high level of entertainment, building a team spirit attitude, uncommon interpersonal relationship skill among pupils and students and a host of other important values that cannot be over-emphasized," she opined.

Also in the same vein, the Chairman of the occasion, Otunba Douglas Ishiodu JP, commended the School authority, teachers and invited guests for the spirit of togetherness and demonstrated cooperation. He further applauded the unbiased sports officials and the judges, while not neglecting the health department.

The Founder, Apostle Martin 'Wale Akinsanya, Chairman Governing Board, Chairman Parents Teachers Forum, Executive Director, Principal, Head Teachers, among other notable dignitaries were equally in attendance.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
