The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, was on Tuesday, held an Education Submit at his Palace in Igbogbo, Lagos, where Parents' forum, members of CDC, CDAs amongst others were in attendance.

The objective of the exercise, was said to ensure that no child of school age is left out of the free basic education opportunity driven by the Governor Sanwo Olu’s administration.

The Monarch further urged the CDAs and religious leaders to sensitized the public on the value of education, the potential impact in the lives of children and the long-term impact it portends for Lagos State’s social and economic growth.

Oba Kasali advised the young ones to value life and engage themselves in a lawful acts, condemning the incessant ritual killings and kidnapping among Nigerian youths.

Also speaking at the summit was the Odofin of Igbogbo, High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, who charges the parents to wake up from their slumber. He urged all to be security contious and not to give space to children of nowadays.

Chief Onasanya further enjoined the CDAs to look for space in their areas and pally with Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, for the purpose of more public schools, noting that land has always been a challenge.

While responding to MegaXpression Media, the Chairman, Parents forum, Ikorodu Division, Mr Kolade Jenrade, commended Igbogbo Monarch, HRM Oba (Barr.) AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, for the submit, urging parents to leave no child behind on basic Education.

Jenrade said Governor Sanwo-Olu is putting up measures to ensure the children of the poor have access to basic Education, while their parents would have access to empowerment.
