HON. ARO MOSHOOD ABIODUN LAYS FOUNDATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MULTIPLE BLOCKS OF CLASSROOMS IN IKORODU CONSTITUENCY II. ...Chairman Daini, Community leaders, Others applaud gesture.
A Lagos State House of Assembly Member, representing Ikorodu Constituency II, Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro, popularly known as AMA, has laid foundation for the construction of multiple blocks of classrooms across in Lajo, Offin and Oreta Communities.
Speaking at the laying foundation at various schools, AMA said the Lajo Junior Secondary School project aimed at addressing the urgent needs for quality educational facilities in the area. "This initiative includes the Construction of an 18-classroom block to cater the rising student population, building a reinforced fence on a raft foundation for enhanced security, erection of two gatehouses to regulate access to the school premises and construction of a food shed to provide a conducive space for student meals," the erudite Lawmaker narrated.
AMA thereafter praised the executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for his quality leadership and love in approving the school project. He also commended the Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools (SCRPS), led by Mr. Akeem Smith, for their exceptional efforts in elevating the standards of public education in Lagos State.
He reaffirmed his commitment to creating an environment for conducive learning for students in his constituency, while acknowledging the challenges facing schools in Ikorodu II, and highlighted his swift action in securing approval for this transformative project.
AMA further extended his gratitude to the Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, for his unwavering support, noting that Daini has been a steadfast partner in his journey.
The entourage later proceeded to Reri Senior Secondary School Oreta, Construction of 18-classrooms block, renovation of six classrooms and an office with toilets and raising the existing perimeter fence for improved security, were executed.
Also, LG Primary School Offin, witnessed renovation of eight classrooms, equipped with toilets, renovation of six additional classrooms, structural reinforcement of three classrooms, and raising of the existing fence to ensure privacy and safety.
In his eloquent response, the Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Daini commended Hon. AMA's achievements and dedication to improving education in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, stating that projects like this validate the trust they placed on Hon. AMA. "His passion for service and commitment to his people are evident in initiatives like this,” Daini opined.
Meanwhile, Community leaders in attendance equally applauded AMA’s proactive approach to addressing educational challenges, praising his prioritization on infrastructure and education, noting the positive impact these projects are already having on the community.
