It was an eventful occasion on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, when some of the All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders in Ikorodu Igbogbo, at different locations celebrated new year with party stalwarts and members of their families in Igbogbo. 

The turnouts were very impressive at various venues, while people of different pedigrees were in attendance inside the compounds of Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, where fabrics and attires of different colours rented the air and the guests were beaming with smiles.

The parties were attracted with the presence of the Chairman Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Daini, Member, Eight and Ninth Lagos Assemblies, Hon Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka, Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Nureni Okedina-Maja, Wards Councillors, Hon. Basirat Banjoko, Hon. Hakeem Solawon, and Hon. Anifowose, APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Orenuga and other political players, members of their families, religious leaders, friends and well wishers.

Shakiru Moritan Seidu, Chairmanship Aspirant in Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA, also featured at all locations to rejoice with his Party Leaders.

Former Minister and GAC member, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe , has denied reports claiming he endorsed Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo for a second term bid to represent Ikorodu Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
