PRINCESS ORELOPE-ADEFULIRE COMMISSIONS 20-BED PRIMARY HEALTH CENTER IN IGBOGBO, LAGOS. ...Commends Olusesan Daini for his impactful governance.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, commissioned a 20-bed Primary Health Center in Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), Ikorodu Division, Lagos State.
According to Princess Orelope-Adefulire while addressing the audience, said the structure was built by OSSAP-SDGs with the primary objective of improving child health and reducing maternal mortality in line with SDG 3, noting that the healthcare centre is a testament to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to improving the health and well-being of the citizens.
“This healthcare centre is a testament to our commitment to improving the health and well-being of our citizens. It will serve as a cornerstone for accessible and quality healthcare in Oreta,” Orelope-Adefulire opined.
Looking ahead, she announced plans to further enhance the facility by adding an Immunization, Antenatal, Gynecology, and Postnatal Unit, along with Doctors’ Quarters. Additionally, she pledged to construct a security house and upgrade the perimeter fence with barbed wire to ensure improved safety and functionality.
She thereafter implored the community to continue praying for President and remain patient, assuring all that positive changes are forthcoming in this year 2025, adding that the current challenges are temporary and that the government’s efforts will soon yield tangible benefits for all citizens.
Orelope-Adefulire further applauded the efforts and dedication of the Council Chairman, Bldr. Olusesan Mayokun Daini, towards the growth and development of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA. “Daini is a valuable asset to the LCDA, he is doing well and I want the party leadership to keep him in the system,” she pleaded.
In his eloquent remarks, the Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, expressed his profound gratitude to Princess Orelope-Adefulire, for her unwavering support and the federal government’s investment in the community’s health infrastructure.
He noted that the healthcare center would serve approximately 51 Community Development Associations (CDAs), providing essential medical services to a broad segment of the population.
