DAINI LAYS GROUNDBREAKING FOUNDATION FOR NEW ADEBORUWA PALACE, SAYS IT'LL BE COMMISSIONED IN JULY. ...Igbogbo Monarch, Community Leaders, Others commend unprecedented performance.
It was a day of reckoning in the history of Igbogbo Kingdom, on Tuesday , March 4, 2025, as the sons and daughters of Igbogbo witnessed a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of new Adeboruwa Palace, powered by the Administration of Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
Amongst notable personalities in attendance were His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and his Vice, Hon. Nurudeen Okedina-Maja, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Member Governance Advisory Council, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Member Governance Advisory Council, Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, former Commissioner for Agric, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, Member Lagos Seventh Assembly, Hon. Gbenga Oshin, Member Lagos Sixth Assembly, Hon. Taiwo Orenuga, LGA Chairman of APC, Aremo Adesegun Ogunlewe, former H.O.S., Yeye Bolanle Basorun, former Sole Administrator, Pastor Ola Ayetoba and Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, former LGA Chairmen.
Others are Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, and other members of Adeboruwa-in- Council, Dr. Tunde Ogunlaja, Chairman of IDEA, Mr Tunde Afuwape, Professor Ajetumobi, Shakiru Moritan Seidu of MegaXpression Media, Engr. Femi Kalejaye, Omo'ba Hameed Aroyewun, Wards Councillors, Supervisors, senior management staff and youth representatives.
While speaking with MegaXpression correspondence, the history Maker and Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, emphasised that the project is dear to him and it's not limited to benefit the Adeboruwa-in- Council alone, but will serve the broader interests of all sons and daughters of Igbogbo Kingdom, who would be using the Palace from time to time.
Describing the Palace as a transformative Adeboruwa’s infrastructure, Daini noted that the facility will serve as a sustainable hub for cultural, social, and developmental engagements.
“The Palace, once completed, will create a legacy of convenience and prestige for the Adeboruwa-in- Council. It will also provide a permanent solution to the logistical challenges faced during our events,” he said.
According to him, "the palace will be a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with modern amenities. The project will include offices, an archive office to preserve Igbogbo’s historical records, fully air-conditioned offices for the King and other workers. And it's expected to be commissioned in July 2025.
All the major community leaders in attendance were all prayed one after the other before His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom laid the historic foundation for the commencement of the project.
