REP. BABAJIMI BENSON BAGS 2024 IKORODU MAN OF THE YEAR, DEDICATES AWARD TO CONSTITUENTS. ...Monarchs, Community Leaders, Others praised quality representation.


The Chairman House Committee on Defence, representing Ikorodu federal Constituency at the Green Chamber Abuja, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, has been awarded as 2024 Ikorodu Man of the Year, by Starlight Newspapers, in recognition of his contributions to the growth and infrastructure development of Ikorodu Division.

The award was presented at a ceremony on Sunday night at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Ikorodu, Lagos, in company of his amiable wife, Mrs Jumoke Benson, and attended by Royal Majesties, Political Leaders, Lawmakers, Council Chairmen, iCARE family, business Leaders, among others.

In his eloquent remarks, Benson returned the glory to Almighty God and his Constituents, for the opportunity bestowed upon him to represent the people of Ikorodu federal Constituency, while dedicated the award to them all.

"I dedicate this award to the great people of Ikorodu federal Constituency, for the true architects of this success. Representation should be about the people, and we remain committed to quality representation that'll improve lives, promote inclusivity, and ensure sustainable development,” Benson stated.

“I appreciate the Starlight Newspapers for this honour, and may God bless Monarchs, Party, and Community Leaders in Ikorodu Division,” he added.

Abiodun Moshood Aro, AMA, Chairman Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Adeola Adebisi Banjo, Vice Chairman Ikorodu LG, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Barrister Leke Aroyewun, Ms Comfort Olafare, Hon.
