The Lawmaker representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR , has organised a two-day intensive training in Solar energy technologies for hundreds of youths. The training according to Rep. Benson, is intended to equip youths of Ikorodu federal Constituency with skills in the assembling of solar energy technologies that would help them earn a livelihood, earn some income and pass down the knowledge to their respective communities. Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Chairmanship Aspirant in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA and a Lagos based Journalist, Mr Shakiru Seidu , has charged the Igbogbo Students' Union to focus more on the growth and development of Igbogbo community anytime they are opportuned to do so.  Seidu emphasized this when the Students Union paid him a courtesy visit at his Igbogbo office. The people of Imota community of Ikorodu federal Constituency, Lagos State, have commended Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR , for embarking on road constructions in the LCDA. The commendation was made during the flag-off of Ori-Okuta and seven other roads in Imota LCDA, where the traditional ruler of the Community, HRM, Oba Mudashiru Ajibade Bakare Agoro , Ranodu of Imota, who spoke on behalf of the people, said they were overwhelmed with joy on Jimi Benson’s intervention on Ori-Okuta road, saying that, for decades, the road has being a major problem to the road users.
