TAIWO ODUMBO CONFERS WITH PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP AWARD FOR COMPETENCE IN ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS BY INSTITUTE OF CORPORATE ADMINISTRATION | Shakiru Seidu. It's a honor well deserved, Babajimi Benson, MHR, reveals.

Saturday, 23rd of March, 2019, was visited by the special occasion, organized by Institute of Corporate Administration, ICAD, which was characterized by the Professional Membership Awards conferred on the industrious intellects who have made valid contributions in various human capacity to enhance the development of Lagos State and Nigeria at large. The Institute held its annual investiture for new members at the Centre for Management Development, CMD, Shangisha, Lagos.

ICAD was said to be a human capital development organization, dedicated to providing practical solutions to complex business needs by involving high caliber professionals from all sectors, who are continually committed to the search for improvement strategies and implementation of global best practices.

In his eloquent lecture, themed “Mastering the Key Competencies for the Changed World of Work”, the Director General of the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Harrison Ajose, said to be an efficient and effective administrator in the 21st century, members of ICAD must share some critical competencies such as possessing the ability to engage in critical thinking, communication effectively, collaboration with people and be creativity and innovative in administering their offices.

Shortly after the lecture, moment for the conferment of membership Awards was next on the agenda. Success they say is guaranteed when it meets with adequate preparation, this paved way for Alhaji Taiwo Abiodun Odumbo, who was conferred with the Professional Membership Award of ICAD.

Odumbo who is the Principal of LASU International College, at the prestigious Lagos State University, expressed joy and enthusiasm over the uncommon privilege. "I am very honoured to be a professional member of the institution has it would afford me the opportunity to further ingrain myself with the ethics of administration and creating the right environment with my colleagues at work" he added.

Speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, joined others to congratulate the Principal, Lagos State University International School, Taiwo Abiodun Odumbo, on his investiture as a Professional Member of the Institute of Corporate Administration (ICAD). "This is a laudable feather to your cap and on behalf of iCare Foundation members, we wish you greater heights and more honours." he said.
