BABAJIMI BENSON'S iCARE FOODBANK GIVES FOOD ITEMS TO ANOTHER SET OF HUNDREDS IN IKORODU DIVISION. | Shakiru Seidu.  "He's an emblem of genuine representation," Deen Sanwoola reveals.

It was another moment of joy on Saturday, May 25, 2019, for the elderly, widows, needy and vulnerable people in Ikorodu Division, when Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, representing Ikorodu federal constituency, repeated his kind gesture, by doling out food items, at his constituency Office, Igbogbo, Lagos State.

The laughter on the faces of the beneficiaries cannot be over emphasised as they were showering prayers on Hon. Babajimi Benson, his amiable wife, Mrs Jumoke Benson and members of iCARE Foundation.

Today's gesture was more extended to the Muslim Community in observing the Ramadan period of this year. An insightful message was rendered by the Ikorodu West Coordinator of iCARE Foundation, Alhaji Oriare, who affirmed the importance of giving and further bestowed abundant blessings upon Hon. Babajimi Benson.

While addressing the over 500 beneficiaries, Hon. Babajimi Benson enjoined the Party faithfuls to celebrate a peaceful Ramadan festival and solicits for their continuous support and prayers to enable him do more than what he is doing presently.

"I am delighted for the opportunity afforded me to serve again", he added.

"This and some other pleasant gestures of course, had qualified Hon Babajimi Benson as a symbolic representation of humility and good conscience in Ikorodu Division. By his character, he is repugnant to illiberal and inequitable principles". This was revealed by iCARE Foundation DG, Mayor Deen Sanwoola, while speaking to MegaXpression Community Magazine. 

Deen stated that the iCARE Foundation through it's iCARE Foodbank has been able to feed over 18,000 people in the last 36 months, by providing monthly food rations (Apo Anu) to 500 families every month. Deen further urged people to continually pray for JB as he aimed at empowering more people in Ikorodu Division. 

The Chairman, Imota LCDA, Prince Wasiu Agoro, applauded the uncommon gesture of Hon. Benson and urged him not to relent in his genuineness and passion for Ikorodu Division.

One of the beneficiaries from Ijede LCDA, Madam Adewale Ibidapo, expressed her profound appreciation to the erudite legislator, his wife and the entire iCARE Team for their uncommon gesture and prayed for God's guidance in their future endeavours. 

Shortly after the pleasant remarks, the distribution of the food items began with smiles of relief on the faces of the beneficiaries.

Other notable dignitaries that witnessed the programme includes Mr Adebayo Oteju and his promising daughter, Alhaji Alejo, Mr Taiwo Odumbo from LASU, Yusuf Atebo, Shakiru Seidu of MegaXpression Community Magazine, and other iCARE Team members, not neglecting APC faithfuls.
