His Royal Majesties, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu and paramount ruler, Ikorodu Division, Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo land, Oba Richard Ogunsanya, Olubeshe of Ibeshe land, Oba Kazeem Gbadamoshi, Ologijo of Ogijo, former Commissioner and member, seventh Assembly, Lagos State, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, Head of Protocol of Hon Babajimi Benson, Alhaji Musbaudeen Alejo and Hon Olusegun Olulade of Epe Constituency II were top on the list of dignitaries who came to honour the family of Otunba Ganiu Olusegun Abiru, as his son got hooked to his heartthrob in a Holy Matrimony in Ibadan.
 
Venue of the reception, Emeritus Prof Theophilus Oladipo Ogunlesi Multipurpose Hall, UCH in Ibadan, was filled to capacity with guests of families of both the bride and bridegroom.
 
Father of the groom, Otunba Abiru who is the former Clerk, Lagos State House of Assembly and Chairman Ikorodu Development Association, IKODASS, had his colleagues in IKODASS led by the Vice Chairman, Alhaji Olanrewaju, the Groom Motors, around him in large number.
 
Others are: the former Commissioner for Town Planning and Urban Development, Lagos State, TPL Wasiu Anifowose, and his wife, former Tutor General, District 6, Mrs Anifowose, CEO of Oriwu Sun Newspaper, Alhaji Monzor Olowosago, Senior lecturer, LASU, Dr Abiodun Fatai-Abatan, Publisher MegaXpression Community Magazine, Mr Shakiru Seidu, CEO Ikorodu Oga Radio, Prince Peju Akinyemi, Comr Kehinde Okeowo, Mr Kazeem Shobowale, Mr Omotayo Benson, Alhaji Sulaimon, Vice Chairman Ikorodu Local Government, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba and other executive members of IKODASS were in attendance.
 
High Chiefs and league of Baales from Ikorodu Division, members of Oriwu Club, past and present State Assembly members, former and present State Cabinet members, APC Leaders, Captains of industries, members of the diplomatic corps and a host of others were also present at the historic wedding.
 
The bride, Oluwademilade Adedamope Adewole and groom, Olowofela Ismail Abiru were in their best spirit as they danced with the bridal train into the venue to the admiration of the guests and to the thrilling spices of Masters of Ceremony of the event. The Pastor at the occasion prayed for the stability of the new home and urged the couple to be best of friends to each other to build a stable home.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
