IGBOGBO KINGDOM BEGINS 10TH CORONATION ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH TRADITIONAL SPLENDOUR. ..As Aroyewun leads Other Eminent Personalities.


The 10th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, commenced in grand style with a colourful Iwure Ceremony held at the Aafin Adeboruwa, drawing an impressive gathering of traditional rulers, chiefs, political leaders, and sons and daughters of the kingdom.

The palace was filled to capacity as the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, led other eminent personalies to witness the ceremony. The event featured traditional worshippers and various deities paying homage to the revered monarch while offering prayers for peace, prosperity, and continued progress in Igbogbo Kingdom.

Adding colour and excitement to the celebration was a captivating cultural performance by the renowned Ikorodu TAMPAN, whose rich display of traditional drama and dance thrilled guests and reflected the enduring cultural heritage of the people.

In their separate goodwill messages, the Executive Chairman, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, and the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, congratulated His Royal Majesty on the remarkable milestone of his 10-year reign. They commended the monarch's exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and community development, while wishing him many more prosperous years on the throne.

In his response, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, expressed profound appreciation to all dignitaries, traditional institutions, Members of the Planning Committee,  and residents for their steadfast support over the past decade. The royal father offered prayers for God's continued guidance, good health, and a more successful reign, while invoking enduring peace, unity, and greater development for Igbogbo Kingdom.

The opening ceremony set the tone for what promises to be a memorable week-long celebration, as the kingdom comes together to honour a decade of visionary royal leadership and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Igbogbo.
