IKORODU METROPOLITAN LIONS CLUB INSTALLS 15TH PRESIDENT, ELECTS OFFICE BEARERS. | Shakiru Seidu. "It's a call to serve," new President, Lion Engr. Oladele Olorunsola reveals.

Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club, District 404 A1, gathered yet again on Saturday, for the annual Lions Club Presidential Induction Dinner at the Ikorodu Town Hall, Lagos. The event commenced with the Lions’ Code of Ethics and the Lions’ Pledge being read to the numerous Lions in attendance.

Immediately after an eloquent lecture by the guest speaker, Dr. Ezekiel Oseni, who naked the barriers facing business prosperity, the District Governor, Ln Sir Monday Onyeme, PMJF, NLCF, did the induction of the two new members and the swearing-in of new exco one after the other.

After inducted the two new members, Ln Sir Monday Onyeme, who was ably represented by the 2nd Vice District Governor, (7), Mr Aromolaruns, sworn-in Ln Odugbote Olatunji as Tamer, Ln Abimbola Quadri as Tail-twister, Ln Barr. Onadipe as membership Director, Ln Ajayi Hameed and Ln Funke Esan as Vice President, Ln Akin Osho as Treasurer, Ln Adefugabi Shakirat and Ln Jumoke Adebote as Secretaries, before the official installation of the 15th President.

Lion Engr Oladele Olorunsola, NLCF, was however installed as the 15th President of Ikorodu Metropolitan Lions Club, District 404 A1, at exactly 4:09pm after the immediate past President, Ln Engr. Micheal Otitolaiye handed over the power.

In his acceptance speech, Lion Engr. Oladele thanked the fellow Lions for the journey so far and assured of more quality service delivery during his tenure. He spoke about the successful projects during the last financial year and expressed his excitement for the year ahead.

Chairman of the occasion, Chief Bunmi Alade, guest speaker, Dr Oseni Ezekiel, special guests of honor, Mr Adeleke adeniyi, Engr Thomas Fagbuyi, Alh. Akinkunmi Ogunseye and Alh Moshood Balogun were all in attendance.

Other notable personalities at the occasion were Mr Adeniyi Adeleke, Dr Ayodele ajayi (PDG), Cabinet District Secretary, Mary Onu, Lion Prince Tunji Oredipe, Lion Tunde Okusanya, Presidents of Crystal Lions Club, Igbogbo Platinum Lions Club, Ikorodu Unique Lions Club and Ipakodo Lions Club.
