APC PRIMARIES: SOB AGUNBIADE APPEALS TO AGGRIEVED PARTY MEMBERS, URGES ALL TO WORK FOR THE PARTY'S VICTORY IN 2019. | Shakiru Seidu. "We must jointly promote the goodness of Ikorodu Division," Oba Shotobi also insists.

The winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituecy 1, Hon SOB Agunbiade and the Monarch of Ikorodu kingdom, HRM Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi have both called on all stakeholders in the political process of Ikorodu Constituecy 1 to bury their grievances and put their best in ensuring peaceful conduct of 2019 general election.

Agunbiade made the call on Saturday, at the 4th Oba Shotobi Mini Marathon, saying that there is need to come together and move Ikorodu Constituecy 1 forward. He implored all his supporters and party followers to continue to be law abiding citizens to promote peaceful coexistence in Ikorodu and beyond.

While responding to questions by MegaXpression magazine, Agunbiade ascribed his emergence more to the grace of the Almighty God than to his mortal efforts. "To the mighty rock of ages I give my thanks," he said.

Agunbiade further appealed to all other illustrous sons and daughter of Ikorodu that contested the Ikorodu Constituency 1 seat with him, to see his emergence as the doing of the Creator and as such, allow them to look beyond the frictions of the primary elections.

"I will make further moves to actualise true reconciliation, hoping that we will have good sportsmanship playing out. To all my teeming followers and admirers, I plead that we show more magnanimity in our relationship with others and allow electoral wounds to heal faster.

"I appeal to supporters from all camps to assist contestants in the primary election to reunite fast, for greater challenges that lie ahead; we cannot continue to fan the ember of disunity through social media post and comments.

"As I forgive all wrongs done to me in the elections, I plead forgiveness also for whatever and in whatever way I might have been misconstrued to have done wrong," he pleaded.

In the same vein, HRM Oba Kabir Shotobi, appealed passionately to all aggrieved party members not to worry, as their own time will surely come. He enjoined all to embrace spirit of oneness and work towards the development of Ikorodu Division.
